Terms of Use
Using Franchises Opportunity means agreeing to these terms. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.

What this site is — and is not
- Franchises Opportunity is a research directory. It is not a franchise broker or consultant, does not recommend that you buy any franchise, and provides no legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.
- Nothing here is an offer to sell a franchise. Under the FTC Franchise Rule, a franchise is offered only through the franchisor's own Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) — that document, not this site, is what you evaluate and sign against.
- Buying a franchise involves real risk, including losing your investment. Consult qualified professionals and current franchisees before committing money.
The data: what we promise and what we can't
- Figures are FDD-derived and dated per brand. We clean and organize disclosure data; we do not audit it, and filings lag reality.
- Missing figures display as "not disclosed" — we never estimate or invent a number, and no field covers every brand (coverage is published on how we check data).
- The site and its data are provided as-is, for research. Verify any figure against the brand's current FDD before relying on it.
Draft the formal warranty disclaimer and limitation-of-liability clauses (jurisdiction-appropriate) to sit behind this plain-language section.
Buyer inquiries
- When you submit a request-info form, we send you free information about the brand(s) in your request and — under the consent shown at submission — we share and sell the details you provide to the franchise brands included in your request and to our partner franchise advisors, who may contact you about franchise opportunities. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what moves where.
- Submit only your own, accurate information. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Franchisor listings, claims, and billing
- Claiming a listing requires that you actually represent the brand; claims are checked by a human before control transfers. Misrepresenting authority to claim a listing is a violation of these terms.
- Lead-program terms are shown inside the authenticated portal for registered representatives. The MVP commercial model is per-qualified-lead, not a conversion fee or sale percentage.
- Paid placement, sponsorship, advisor routing, and advertiser routing require separate policy and labeling before launch.
The full franchisor listing agreement (billing terms, dispute window length, termination, chargebacks) must be drafted as a standalone contract that these terms reference (A-008).
Acceptable use
Don't misrepresent who you are on any form, attempt to access other people's data or the admin area, disrupt the service, or use the site for anything unlawful. Search-engine and answer-engine crawling is welcome per our published robots policy.
Governing law and changes
If these terms change, the date above changes with them; continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution clauses need counsel once the operating entity and jurisdiction are fixed.
